SOLIDWORKS 2018 – The Countdown Begins #SOLIDWORKS #SW18

Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS has quietly rolled out the SOLIDWORKS 2018 Launch website which went live today.  Even though SOLIDWORKS 2018 is still in Beta and the Official Launch is not until Tuesday 26th September.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be running through on  a series of posts, some of the new features and enhancement of the 2018 release.

But before I do, I should make full disclosure!

Earlier in the year, I was asked, if TRAKKA could provide a dataset for DS SOLIDWORKS to possibly use with SOLIDWORKS 2018.  At the time I had  just returned from SOLIDWORKS World 2017 and had seen & heard what was being planned for the next couple of years with Large Assemblies.  We didn’t need to think too much about it and had no hesitation in doing so.  After all anything we can do which assists DS SOLIDWORKS to provide better tools for us to use, can only be beneficial for us!

So take a look at the Launch website for previews of what is coming with SOLIDWORKS 2018
